Conditions Current Fisherman in Sendang Biru

WIKANTO Tambakrejo Village Head in Sendangbiru Coast region on Friday (17/12) admitted, about three months a lot of fishermen who parked the boat and switched professions to be farmers, carpenters vegetable, Coolie or a parking.
"Indeed not a few who returned to his hometown for the fishermen who come from other areas. But, for indigenous fishers Sendangbiru, yes many are switching professions while waiting for weather to improve," he added.
He acknowledged, each year will definitely happen this season (bad weather), but this year (2010) condition is severe enough, even the level of wind speed twice faster than in previous years.
Indeed, he continued, there are one or two fishermen who brave and reckless sea, but the result is not much, so that other fishermen would prefer to temporarily switch professions.
When normal weather, he said, many boat owners and vessel Chedi which leases to fishermen with a system for hasil.Namun, now no income at all and the crew (ABK) also many who returned to his hometown. In the village there are about 190 Tambakrejo fishermen, who use the ship as many as 40 people Chedi and the boat 150. Each ship has an average Chedi crew of 30 men and the boat requires a minimum of five people, so in that village there are thousands of fishermen who are unemployed.
In normal weather conditions, the income of fishermen every day is quite high, namely an average are able to get 60 tons of fresh fish for different types of fishermen who use boats Chedi.
While the fishermen who use the boat on average get about three hundred pounds of fresh fish per hari.Namun, when the weather worsened in the past three months hasl desperate fishermen catch fish at sea is not capable of self-sufficient.
Inclement weather that requires the fishermen are unemployed or switch professions, it is estimated up to third month (March) 2011.
